Boys Track Wins 3rd Straight GWOC Title

Last night, the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) held met at Beavercreek High School for the annual GWOC Championship meet.

Warrior Boys Track & Field (150 pts) were the big winners, besting the host Beavercreek Beavers (141 pts) by 9 points to win their 3rd consecutive GWOC title and 14th GWOC title in program history.

University of Cincinnati commit, Key'Shawn Garrett led the way by breaking the meet record in the 100m dash (set by Brandon Saine in 2006), 200m dash, long jump, and participated on the winning 4x100m relay team.

The girls scored 81.5 points to finish in 3rd place behind Beavercreek (143.5 pts) and Centerville (169.5 pts).

The program will now set their sights on postseason action when they play host to the OHSAA Super Regional at Heidkamp Stadium on May 19th, 28th, and 30th.
