Pending Board Approval, the Wayne Athletic Department is excited to announce Kurtis Kozlowski as the next head coach to lead the Warrior Boys Soccer program.
Familiar with the program, Kozlowski has spent the better part of 30 years on the sidelines for Warrior soccer as the son of former coach David Kozlowski, as a player and a Wayne alumni, and most recently as an assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach.
"I am very excited to have the opportunity to lead this great group of young men and be a leader of a program that has been an instrumental part of my life," said Kozlowski. "I am thankful for this opportunity and can't wait to see what the future holds. Go Warriors!" he added.
Kozlowski began his coaching career at Fairmont High School from 2014-2018 but came back to Wayne where he was a varsity assistant for the woman's program from 2019-2022 before transitioning to the men's side in 2023. Kozlowski made the transition alongside former head coach Brad Hemphill, whom Kozlowski has worked under during his time at Wayne.
