Lady Warrior Swim Breaks 29 Year Old Record

Last week, the Warrior Swim program competed at the nationally known Southwest Classic.

The relay team of Zoe Wilkson, Maura Brooks, Aryah Pritchett, and Katie Caplinger took down a 29-year old record set in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:33.35 by over 5-seconds! The record (4:38.83) was previously set in 1998 and included Betsy Wilkson, the mother of Zoe, who was also swimming the backstroke leg.

Additionally, Katie Caplinger was the lone Warrior to make the finals at the prestigious event, swimming the 50 backstroke at St. Xavier High School. She finished in 16th place with a time of 30.75.
