Freshman Briella Lawrence gave up just 1 ER in 4.0 innings pitched while the Lady Warriors saw their bats come alive as they took down Fairborn 14-1 last night. Fellow freshman Madilynn Thompson came in to close the final inning for the Lady Warriors.

Cheyenne Townsend led the offensive attack, going 4-4 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. Emily Hames (2-3, 1 HR), Reagan Ames (3-3, 1 RBI), and Selena Serrano (3-4, 1 RBI) all added multi-hit output as the Lady Warriors recorded 16 hits in the five inning contest.

In just head coach Kat Goley's 2nd season, the win was their 10th of the year, a mark the program hasn't seen since they went 13-12 back in 2018. The program also sits at 5 wins in the GWOC, their most since they won 7 conference games back in 2017.

Lady Warrior Softball closes out their regular season tonight, May 14th, when they travel to Northmont. They will open postseason play on Monday, May 18th at Springboro High School.
