Warrior Athletics is excited to announce our Student-Athletes of the Month for January, 2026.
The recognition is awarded to student-athletes, nominated by their coaches for any number of reasons - play on the field, hard work in the class room, leadership in the program, work in the community, and more.
On top of the recognition, each student-athlete will receive a gift basket courtesy of Texas Roadhouse of Huber Heights. We're grateful for their consistent support of our student-athletes and our athletic department!
Key'Shawn Garrett, Indoor Track & Field
Key'Shawn had a gigantic January, putting out top three marks in the state in three distinct events:
- 200m Dash
- Triple Jump
- 4x200m Relay
Ma'Khayla Bass
At the Mt. Vernon Invite, Bass broke the school record for the Indoor 400m Dash with a time of 59.62 seconds!
