Warrior Athletics is excited to announce our Student-Athletes of the Month for March, 2026.
The recognition is awarded to student-athletes, nominated by their coaches for any number of reasons - play on the field, hard work in the class room, leadership in the program, work in the community, and more.
On top of the recognition, each student-athlete will receive a gift basket courtesy of Texas Roadhouse of Huber Heights. We're grateful for their consistent support of our student-athletes and our athletic department!
Keng Martin, Indoor Track & Field
The junior speedster was a key cog in the state championship won by the indoor track & field team in Cleveland in March. Martin won individual state titles in the 60m Hurdles and the 4x200m Relay. In the 60m Hurdles, Martin broke a school record with his time of 7.94 seconds and was a part of a 4x200m Relay team who won the event for the third consecutive year. Martin opens the outdoor season looking to defend 2025 state titles in the 300m Hurdles, 4x100m Relay and 4x200m Relay.
Amiyah Murray, Girls Wrestling
Murray just completed a historic freshman season for Warrior Athletics. This season, she became the first female wrestler in school history to win a GWOC title, District title, Sectional title, and qualify for the OHSAA state tournament. In addition to playing a key role in growing girls wrestling at Wayne and in the surrounding area, Murray has maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher throughout the entire season.
Congrats to our two student-athletes on this tremendous honor and thank you to Texas Roadhouse of Huber Heights for their continued support!
