On the heels of back to back state championships, Warrior Track & Field is launching a fundraiser to help supplement the cost of state championship rings for our student-athletes!
In an effort to celebrate and commemorate the hard work put in by the 2024 Lady Warriors as well as the 2025 Warriors, this fundraiser is being ran to help cover the cost of state championship rings.
In 2024, the girls scored 46 points to beat Mason by four. Then sophomore Ric'Keya White starred, winning the 110m Hurdles and the 300m Hurdles to secure 20 points alone. The girls scored 9 points in the 100m (Te'Aira Branham-Patrick | 3rd & White | 6th), 9 in the 200m (Branham-Patrick | 3rd & Trinity Bibbs | 6th), and 8 points in the 4x100m Relay (Branham-Patrick, White, Bibbs, and Kendall Turner).
After a 2nd place finish in 2024, the boys came back with revenge on their mind in 2025. The four man team of juniors Key'Shawn Garrett & Semarion Sroufe and sophomores Jamier Averette-Brown & Keng Martin dominated the field, scoring 60 points which took the crown by 21 points. Martin won the 300m Hurdles while Averette-Brown won the 100m for individual titles. The foursome swept the sprint relays in the 4x100m and 4x200m. Averette-Brown (2nd) and Garrett (3rd) scored in the 200m while Martin finished 5th in the 110m Hurdles.
