Warrior Athletics Partnering With MCore Foundation for Heart Screenings

Wayne Athletics is excited to partner with MCore Foundation to provide heart screenings to interested student-athletes.

On Thursday, November 6th, MCore will set up shop in Room W115 at Wayne High School to provide heart screenings at the special rate of just $19 per student-athlete, thanks to the generosity of Pam & Gerry Krach as well as the Bitsko Family.

Each student will receive an electrocardiogram (ECG) and limited echocardiogram performed by a registered cardiac sonographer The results read by pediatric cardiologists after the series of tests lasting around 10-12 minutes. Images are then stored in secure accounts for future access.
