Warrior Basketball Lands 7 on All-GWOC Teams

The Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) released their annual All-GWOC teams for boys and girls basketball this week with Warrior Basketball being well represented.
Headlined by three First Team All-GWOC selections, the programs saw four boys and three girls honored with selections.
Senior guard Isaiah Thompson was the lone First Team selection for boys basketball. A jack of all trades, Thompson was the team's leading scorer at 12.4 ppg (9th in GWOC), leading assist man at 4.5 apg (3rd in GWOC), and led the league in steals at 3.3 spg.
NaRiya Goddard, the sophomore guard for the Lady Warriors, was the do-it-all member of the girls program to receive a First Team selection. Goddard averaged 16.2 ppg (3rd in GWOC), 4.3 apg (1st in GWOC), and secured 3.9 spg (2nd in GWOC) while also being top ten in rebounds per game at 5.8.
Dezirae Thomas was other First Team selection for the Lady Warriors as the second piece of a dynamic duo with Goddard. Thomas was 2nd on the team in scoring at 13.4 ppg (7th in GWOC) while leading the conference in three point makes at 61. She was also 2nd in the conference in free throw percentage at 82.1%.
