Warrior Bowling Competes at Nationals

Warrior Bowling sent a handful of student athletes over to Fort Wayne, Indiana to compete at the 2025 U.S. High School Bowling National Championships from June 7th to 9th.
The boys team consisted of Kyle Baker (SR), Isaiah Vondenberger (SR), Skyler Pounds (SR), Logan Reynolds (SR), Caden Balsamo (SR), Logan Winemiller (JR), and Braxton Rice (SO).
Day One saw the Warrior Boys bowl as a team where they placed 48th out of 56 teams. Skyler Pounds bowled a career high game of 277 to lead the team.
Day Two brought singles action where the Warriors were once again led by Pounds with a 742 in his four game set, though none of the Warriors made the cut after initial action.
The girls sent over four bowlers to compete as singles including Libbie Goffinet (SR), Ciara Johnson (SR), Lindsay Westbeld (JR), and Catie Zbinden (JR).
In singles play, Westbeld led the way with an 824 in her four game set, qualifying her for the 2nd round of play on Monday, June 9th. Of the 90 other competitors who qualified, Westbeld wound up finishing 29th.
