Warrior Cross Country Has Strong Showing at Hillclimber Invite

This weekend, Warrior Cross Country traveled to Urbana High School to compete in the Urbana Hillclimber Invitational.

Both the girls and boys teams had strong showings as the girls placed 3rd as a team and the boys placed 5th as a team. The girls' top runner, Alannah Findley-Hendricks placed 16th overall.

On the boys side, they finished with a pair of top-10 placers as Mason Calhoun (3rd) and Dashawn Fears (9th) ran well on the day. This is Calhoun's 3rd top-5 finish in four events on the year as he's placed 5th at both the Lost Creek Invite (8/16) and the Fairborn Invitational (8/27).

The program is back in action on September 6th at the Brookville Invitational at Golden Gate Park.
